CATPart FT&A

CATPart FT&A

I have a CATPart I'm putting FT&A on.  When I place a datum symbol the symbol gets put out into space and the view plane bounding box is huge, encompasing the 0,0,0.  FYI, I'm working in 0,0,0 placement.

Any option that controls the location of the symbols relative to the part?

Thanks...

RE: CATPart FT&A

Pilot...

We had that problem several releases ago in Everett, but it was fixed at least a year ago. Are you running the lastest BP (R16) ?

The workaround was to use a leader text and make it look like a datum by adding a frame and changing the arrowhead.

I loaded R16SP0HF6 today.  The problem does not exist in that version or in R15 which I have as well.  I was asking the question for a person who is running R14.  I'll tell him it's a bug and fixed in later releases.

Thanks...

RE: CATPart FT&A

I checked my notes, and it did popup in R14. I think we got a HotFix for it, and it didn't happen again in R15.
