Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

(OP)
Question regarding moving BOM from sheet 2 to sheet 1.

I have an assembly drawing. There are 50+ parts and 20+ notes. The model is inserted onto sheet 2. I would like to display the BOM on sheet 1. There is no room on sheet 1 for the complete model. I could move the notes to another sheet, but would prefer not to.

How can I, if possible, move the BOM table from sheet 2 (or 3) to sheet 1.

RE: Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

Just use the usual cut-n-paste method.

cheers

RE: Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

Afterthought ... that only works for the SW BOM.
The Excel BOM is tied to the view, so you will have to either hide the view or move it outside of the sheet border.

RE: Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

Really, CBL?  I was hoping that old 'hide the view' method would be resolved in later solidworks versions.

RE: Moving BOM from sheet to sheet

It has been resolved ... use the SW BOM.

cheers
