How do we enter data field in Microstation? Some of the tools in Text are useful for entering data field and copy and icnrement data fields. How do we create data fields in Microstation. Do we need to create externally and import the datafield in Microstation. Can any one help

Data fields are the underscore character _ and brackets <<>>.
Each position in the field is another underscore.
for example a field for 5 characters would be <<_____>>.
Try taking and existing cell with data fields, turn your data fields on where you can view them and then drop properties. then use edit text and you'll see.

you can find data fields under edit, view attributes and then turn on data fields.
