Nested family tables

Nested family tables

Nested family tables

(OP)
Can some someone please tell me how to create nested family tables.

For example, if one has a family table of screw head sizes (for different thread diameters)and a second table for the various thread diameters and each of their available lengths, how does one nest the second table inside the first?

RE: Nested family tables

When you are editing the family table, there is a menu option Insert-->Instance Level Table.

Select the instance that you would like to create the nested table under and choose this option and you will be brought into a 'lower-level' family table based on that particular instance.
cheers
