Does anyone know where i can get a copy or summary of DIN 6449, or any other information related to ISO type tool holders for CNC machines
Thanks

RE: Info on DIN 6449

Hi
You can find some information about DIN standards (i.e. what do they mean, or what they are about) on the DIN official home page http://www.din.de but they wont probably give you any further information, cos they SELL the standards, and you wont likely find them on the net for free.. I have tried too hard, but found out nothing. In case you find them, would you please inform me?
My best regards
Solomech

RE: Info on DIN 6449

Sorry this is late, I've just joined the website. The DIN standards are old and probably not what you actually need I suggest you take the number and cross referance it to a new IEC or maybe an EN standard. If you have more detail on the component, I can probably help.
