Radial flow and Mix flow diffuser vane layout design

Radial flow and Mix flow diffuser vane layout design

(OP)
Hi, I am a centrifugal pump product engineer.  I've been doing some self study in hydraulic design on and off as my interest.
Can someone point me in the right direction what pump book that specifically show you how to design a radial flow type diffuser particularly Vane Layout??  I have some pump book by Stepanoff, Church and Lobanoff.  I don't believe they describe that in these books.  Thanks in advance.

RE: Radial flow and Mix flow diffuser vane layout design

The books by the three authors you mention probably provide the best "layout" treatment of impeller and diffuser blade/vane design among the pump design books published since the 1950's. Lazarkiewicz and Troskolanski's book may be in this same class. Recent blade/vane design procedures used in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods use  blade/vane channel streamline flow analysis to determine ideal blade/vane shapes using subroutines that provide blade/vane coordinates suitable for input to numerically controlled machining (NCM) procedures that cut the metal. Gas compressor design technical papers are generally more prevalent than pump design papers in the area of blade/vane design contours for fluid flow turbomachinery.
