Optimal I-DEAS iges output setting for CATIA v4 import?

I'm trying to export an IGES file from I-DEAS for importing into CATIA v4 (no STEP translator), and I was wondering if anyone knew the suggested or optimal settings for the export?

RE: Optimal I-DEAS iges output setting for CATIA v4 import?

I don't know the optimal settings, but I know that I-DEAS to V4 can be a bit tricky.

Do you have a seat of UG, by any chance?

Yes, we do have a seat of UG.

RE: Optimal I-DEAS iges output setting for CATIA v4 import?

If you can get the I-DEAS file into UG, you can then convert directly to V4. (if you have the functionality)

UG has a really great V4 direct save....

Maybe a long shot, but it's one of the better options.

Unfortunately, our UG package does not have that functionality.  It would sure be nice if it did, though.

Thanks for the suggestions.
