Are two screens better than one?
Are two screens better than one?
(OP)
I presently use one 20" flat screen with WF2.
If I was to buy another screen, should it be another 20" screen - so I use both - or one single 24", and only use this?
Any advice???

if you work with the main menu on say the rhs screen, what can you do with the lhs one?
RE: Are two screens better than one?
We had a few display problems when we were on Pro/2001, but no problems at all with W.F. (as I can tell).
Here is what works good for me. I can have a pro/e session running on the one screen, while I have Intralink or a configuration management software running of the other. (I can also have eng-tips running on one screen)
Works great for me.

The setup I have now lets me plug an old 15" monitor to my laptop. When I'm using Pro/E, I have new menus pop up in the secondary window, and I undock the model tree and put it in that window as well. This lets me maximize the graphics window on my laptop.
I'm happy with my little 15" second monitor... But 2 20" screens... wow..
I wonder what it would be like to use one of these set-ups: http://www.go-l.com/monitors/athens/features/

Even in 1986 I had two monitors, and you could have up to eight viewing ports for one part/assembly.
In English pounds, that workstation alone cost 50,000. Then you needed our server and software.
And you needed couldn't even use Word/Excel on that UNIX-based machine, so just two screens for CAD!
