Dimension reporting in Exel BOM's for multiple configurations

Dimension reporting in Exel BOM's for multiple configurations

(OP)
I have a Part with two length configurations.
In my BOM at the assembly level I am using the length dimension as part of my cutting list, but it only ever reports the dimension in the configuration that the part was last saved at. Is there any way to link the configuration length to a cell in the Parts list?

RE: Dimension reporting in Exel BOM's for multiple configurations

Not in the Excel BOM. The SW BOM does cater for differnet configs.

However, if you had a separate drawing sheet for each config with its own BOM, the length should be remain tied to that config, irrespective of which one was active.

cheers
