Node numbering

Node numbering

Node numbering

(OP)
Hello everyone,
I am working on an FE model whcih has a global model which then drives a local model.  I am coming up with an error which ive never seen before, as when I run the local model job it says that

"the node numbering might not be correct for element # instance 'name'"

where # is an element in instance "name". this error is repeated for every element in that instance.  I must say taht this instance is of a part whcih contains cohesive elements only.  Why does this error occur??

Thanks for your time and help,

Andrea

RE: Node numbering

Not clear of your question. Did you tie your cohesive element to the bulk materials and assign proper materials property to the cohesive element?
If you are using ABAQUS/CAE, take a look at your MODEL->Keyword editor> Model_name. Make sure your are using the right element for your cohesiv region.

thanks for your reply.  I am not sure what the problem was. I just restarted my model from scratch and it seems to be working now.  thanks a lot anyways!
