Draft Analysis on Unix workstation

Draft Analysis on Unix workstation

Draft Analysis on Unix workstation

(OP)
Is anyone else experiencing problems with draft analysis on Unix platform? We use a mixture of Unix and Windows machines, draft analysis works fine on Windows but on Unix the drfat analysis colour scale doesn't work i.e the selected surface is shaded as per normal without the graduated colour scale.

I don't think this is a CATIA settings issue as it works fine when I use the same login on a pc. The machine is a Sun Blade 1500, 2 Gig Ram - not sure about what the graphics card is - I'm a CAD monkey not an IT expert.

RE: Draft Analysis on Unix workstation

I think the problem in this case is the workstation. Is not possible to make the draft analysis on this machine. I have also the same problems with draft analysis (i have the same workstation like you). For the draft anlysis i use only a computer or a sun blade 2000 or an old ultra sun 60

RE: Draft Analysis on Unix workstation

I have experienced same problems on PC, that time I found that preselection highlight was turned. Check in tools->options->general->display under the navigation tab. If that option is turned on the highlight will cover the graduated draft analysis so it's not visible.
