SW2006 SP3: issues with pdf

SW2006 SP3: issues with pdf

(OP)
Hello all,
I was wondering if any of the unfortunates people who have upgraded to SW2006 SP3 have had issues with the pdf creation. I recently upgraded from SP0 to SP3, I noticed that certain drawings when saved as pdf (with section areas hatched) creates the hatch marks all over the page.
As in, the pdf page has the hatch in the drawing  and also all over the page, which makes it absolutely unacceptable to print and use.
My pdf reader is at 7.0. I noticed this same problem as soon as I installed sp3, but after a coupe of tries I thought I got over it (thinking it to be the occasional craziness asso with pdf conversions) but right now I am stuck.
I would like your opinions on SP3..not that I have an option right now.
Thanks

Yes, this was discussed in thread559-143705 with discussion from the SolidWorks community site.

Check out that thread and see if it's of any use or if you perhaps had any antivirus software operating during the SP upgrade, etc.

Meanwhile, for a hack, you can download PDF995 (print driver) for free and still get PDF files:

Unrelated issue:

But SP 3.1 - is it acceptable to install?  Or does it have so many bugs, that I should just wait for the next service pack?

Nella95 - You should have posted this as a new thread and not in this post.
