Hatching problem?

Hatching problem?

Hatching problem?

(OP)
I have created an assembly section view.  I noticed that some of the components had multiple lines for their outline (As though the outline of the part was offset).  When i right click one of the lines, it is the hatch lines.  Instead of the lines appearing at angles throught the section, they follow the outline of the part.  I can turn them off, but I don't have a hatch for the section cut.  An example is a spring that is cut.  The hatch is set to an angle of 45 degrees.  The hatch appears as circles around the section outline of the spring.

Is there some way to correct the hatch display?

RE: Hatching problem?

Have you tried decreasing the spacing?
