Question about 2006 World Conference

Question about 2006 World Conference

Question about 2006 World Conference

(OP)
To those of you who have been there before, do you know if you can use video cameras during the break-out sessions?  I would like to be able to bring the most information back to my engineering group as possible.  I just know that a some of what I learn over those couple of days will be forgotten by the time I get back.  Also, are the break-out sessions held in conference rooms and how many people can I expect to be in a break-out session?

Thanks,
Bloodclot

Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of the drive-up ATM?

RE: Question about 2006 World Conference

Usually ANY recording device, video and audio, is prohibited in these types of conferences.

RE: Question about 2006 World Conference

I don't believe they will let you use a video camera.  You will recieve a CD containing all the presentations so this may be helpful to you.  Most presenters also offer their presentations for download from a website.

The sessions are held in confrence rooms and the number of people really depends on varying factors.  I would say you will see a minimum of 30-40 people and the max could be much more than that (maybe 100-125?). This will be the best attended SW confrence ever.  Last I heard (about 3 weeks ago)registration was about 3000.

A word of advice, get to your sessions early.  When the room is full you will be turned away.

They will send you a CD about two month after the conf. All the powerpoints should be on this cd for you company to review
