Fired heaters for Petrochemical and Refinery Industry

Fired heaters for Petrochemical and Refinery Industry

(OP)
Hello-

I would like to know if anyone can suggest some good books to learn more about the design considerations involved in fired heaters for the petrochemical and refinery industry.

I already found a good website (http://www.heaterdesign.com/design5.htm) and would like to buy a book that maybe has some worked examples or case studies.

Thank you.

RE: Fired heaters for Petrochemical and Refinery Industry

You might try getting copies of API 560 Fired Heaters and API 530 Tubes for Fired Heaters.

These two standards provide considerations that most refineries and chemical plants want.
