Re-attaching Dimensions in Drafting

Re-attaching Dimensions in Drafting

Re-attaching Dimensions in Drafting

(OP)
Hi Guys,

If a dimension becomes dettached from some geometry on a drawing, is there a way re-linking the dimension without deleting it and inserting a new one?

I've looked at the NX2 help files and they seem to suggest using the 'Feature Parameters' on the Drafting Annotation toolbar, but I cannot seem to get it to work.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Andy.

RE: Re-attaching Dimensions in Drafting

Edit->Drafting Object Associativity

By default the Edit Dimension Associativity icon is selected, so pick the leader you want to reattach, and then the entity you want it attached too.

Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler.
