BOM ITEM #ing

BOM ITEM #ing

I am using the SW BOM as opposed to the Excel-Based BOM.  I like some of the features of it.

My problem is that when I select INDENTED ASSEMBLIES and SHOW NUMBERING under BOM OPTIONS it shows the item number for the indented items in "outline" format.  Is there a way for it to treat them in the sequence of item numbers?  i.e. instead of:

1
2
2.1
2.2
3

to be:

1
2
3
4
5

I would like to stay with the SW BOM if I can instead of Excel-Based.

Thank you for any help here

Sorry ... I just tried selecting PARTS ONLY and it seems to give what I wanted ... (hitting forehead with palm)

Thanks for looking at it ... I'm sure I'll have plenty more, so stay tuned ...

Thanks
