Could preview of drawing be different from actual drawing?

Could preview of drawing be different from actual drawing?

I have a SW2005 sp01.1 file that shows a tolerance in "view only" or preview that changes when the file is opened to edit. How is that possible? I sent the "view only" drawing as a pdf to vendor who caught the mistake. When the drawing is opened for editing it is correct.

RE: Could preview of drawing be different from actual drawing?

If the tolerance is an imported dimension from the model file and the model was changed, then the drawing will update to that new value when it opens fully and rebuilds.
