Manufacturing
(OP)
Hi,
We are facing problem in manufacturing. The problem is that while generating tool paths for milling round bodies,UG outputs tool path as points. It outputs some of the moves as a small arcs and rest of them points even while machining some standard diameters. It's ok for new machines which can process large no. of point moves at high feed but for old machines it's a nighmare. Then tool motion becomes jerky and even slow.Does anybody have solution for that.We need UG to output all possible moves as standard G02 or G03 moves. In this way file size gets small and machine runs smooth without jerky motions at high feed.We are using NX2.Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanxs,
Amit

Thanxs for your reply. But I noticed that the moves are small lines before posting.(When I verified my toolpath before posting it).But Still I will try to explore post for the option you told. Thanxs again!

RE: Manufacturing
Is this NX created geometry or imported? If imported from which program?
