Specify Font for Style TEXTM dialog box

(OP)
I also have a problem with the following dialog box appearing when opening some of our drawings.  The dialog box .. Specify Font for Style TEXTM .. apears.  How do I get rid of this?  Is this due to someone creating this drawing in a previous version of AutoCAD?  We currently use 2000i.

Thanks again!

RE: Specify Font for Style TEXTM dialog box

Please check the style and font of the text in the drawing.
Maybe the said drawing uses a font file that is not available on the working paths.

RE: Specify Font for Style TEXTM dialog box

The Text box in question is asking you for a substitution text for the old style. Selecting a new text style would replace the origional text with what ever style you select. Some AutoCad versions still require you to change the style within the drawing even after you have selected a type. So don't forget to change the style or you will recieve the same box again once you save the drawing.
