RE: Spell Checker
What I like is that it has other languages that I can now spell check in.
Sent an e mail to Spain yesterday that I had to compose in hotmail and after spell checking, copy and past into outlook.
I guess I could have composed it in Eng-tips. I just fear hitting the submit button too soon if I did that. (I have done that a few times, hit the submit button too soon.)
I recommend it highly.

also in "tit for tat" (well now we'll see who has what nanny software installed!)

RE: Spell Checker
Tatting is a method of making lace by hand. To tat, is to practice this art/craft.
RE: Spell Checker
The checkers will miss proper usage of words like "there", "their","they're" because each is spelled properly. A grammar/spell checker, like the one in MS Word is far more useful. Even with the grammar function due diligence is still required.
Spell checker and grammar checker will miss items like this one taken from a previous post in this thread.
"Sent an e mail to Spain yesterday that I had to compose in hotmail and after spell checking, copy and past into outlook."
The word past in this could be passed or pasted -- Don't mean to be critical of this post but this is a good example.
