Extracting Part Model Max Physical Dimensions

Extracting Part Model Max Physical Dimensions

Extracting Part Model Max Physical Dimensions

(OP)
Hi all,

I am looking to extract Part Model max physical dimensions to automatically populate Material Stock Sizes.  I would like to do this via a Macro and place the information into SW CP's to allow extration via SW BOM functions.  Then I plan to manipulate the dimensional values in a Spreadsheet to allow ordering of materials for manufacturing.

Does anyone know of an existing Macro that performs this function (extraction of max physical dimensions)?  If not, does it even sound possible?  If so, any thoughts on best direction?

BTW, I already refered to the forum thread:

It's close to what I'm wanting and I am currently able to do what was suggested by CorBlmeyLimey in that thread.  I'm looking more for auto extraction of the info by Macro usage.

Not bad, this may just work...thanks Cor!

Now if it only wrote the info out to SW CP's...it would be the berries. tongue
