SheetMetal (Solidworks 2005 SP5.0)

SheetMetal (Solidworks 2005 SP5.0)

SheetMetal (Solidworks 2005 SP5.0)

(OP)
When creating sheetmetal parts I have always used the used the default radius rather than custom bend allowance, etc.

Today something happened when I create new parts
the "use default radius" value has change to some larger value and is checked under flange parameters under edge flange.

I create a rectangle in sketch and then create a base flange to define the sheetmetal part.

Now I want to add a edge-flange and when I try I notice "use default radius" numberical value has changed and is check. I do not what to uncheck and correct every time. Any idea what happened let me know thanks.
Usually the software automatically creates a value close to the sheetmetal thickness.

RE: SheetMetal (Solidworks 2005 SP5.0)

The default bend radius can be/is set by RMB-clicking on the Sheet-Metal1 icon in the feature tree & changing the value shown. Have you changed that recently?

Do you use custom Sheet Metal document templates? Has someone changed the default?

cheers
