ONLY IN THE ASSEMBLY????

ONLY IN THE ASSEMBLY????

(OP)
I started a sketch inserted a pic from file. Which was a .TIFF format. It shows up on all the parts and assemblies. I can go from the drawing an right click open assembly and its all right there it just will not display in the drawing!! Please help!!

Thanks for the previous replys, however neither helped. Iam using Solidworks 2006 SP0.0.

RE: ONLY IN THE ASSEMBLY????

You'll probably need to make sure Show Sketches is selected in your drawing document's options--and as Rob mentioned in your other thread, make sure you have shaded mode in at least that view.  Then, make sure that specific sketch (the one with the embedded image) is shown in that drawing view.

One other thing to note--if you have a part or anything in front of your sketch with image, it will eclipse your image--since it's in front of it.  To solve that, make sure nothing obscures your view of your image by putting the sketch with embedded image on a plane in front of everything else--at least for your drawing view.
