Kinetic of Methane

Kinetic of Methane

(OP)
Hi Everyone,

I am trying to develop a kinetic model for methane combustion in order to prove that it is 99% removal of CH4. I am trying to find out how I can determine (or get) the value of the rate constant. Could anyone can give me some clue on that? From now I assume second order, irrevisible reaction.

Andy

RE: Kinetic of Methane

Googling for "methane combustion kinetic model" gives you http://www.me.berkeley.edu/gri_mech/ which should be exactly what you're looking for!

Cheers,
Joerd
