DC Static Transfer Switch?

DC Static Transfer Switch?

DC Static Transfer Switch?

(OP)
Help please.

I need to find some type of Static Transfer Switch capable of switching 200A DC at 50V. Any ideas as to who manufactures such a switch. I've tried Socomec and the like but they only supply AC specs on their switches.

Regards

RE: DC Static Transfer Switch?

You could use diodes like everyone else does. Each source connects to the common bus through a series diode. If you wish use two diodes, one on the positive and one on the negative pole. That way one source can't backfeed into the other, and there is no break to the load. The higher of the two sources - even by a volt or two - will hog the load.
