NX3 Documentation location

My company made the switch to NX3 from Pro/E early last year. My problem is that I can not access the documentation files through the help>documentation pulldown. When I try the message "Unable to display help information - Cannot find the HTML file" appears. What directory should these files be located? Are these files found on the install disks? If so, can they be added later?

While I'm making my way through NX3 fairly well there are still some functions that I would like a better understanding of. Thanks for the help.

RE: NX3 Documentation location

Sounds like the documentation cd was not installed. It's a seperate install disk.

RE: NX3 Documentation location

hi, as mentioned it has to be installed separately.

Have look where the environment variable UGII_UGDOC_BASE_DIR points to, it points to the installation directory of the help files ...
( #Help#NXLogfile )

Thanks for the input. The environment variable points to a directory that does not exist. I'm off to plead my case to the IT squad and see if I can get the install disks.
