Would anyone know of a substitute for Waukesha 88? I work in the pump industry and looking for a alternate that is easer to machine and has the same properties

RE: Waukesha 88

If my memory serves me correctly, Waukesha is a hard metal slurry pump. Why do you neeed to machine it. An alternate machine would be of the same or similar material and thefore you will have the same problem - which I don't understand anyway. Maybe you need to expand your request so we can help.

Our company manufacture its impellars out of waukesha and I am looking for an alternate material for the waukesha less costly and more machine friendly. Would anyone know of a material with simular properties and that machines eaiser?

RE: Waukesha 88

Not real sure about your question either, but we use a Bronze Impeller.
