I am trying to determine typical system power factors (running, not starting) for residential and small commercial HVAC systems (2 through 15 ton systems).

Has someone got some typical, approximate numbers?

Appreciate the help.

Typical power factors for single phase motors is about 0.74 to 0.80 and efficiencys of 0.56 to 0.66 it depends on whether it's CSCR,CSIR, or PSC.
