Metal to Metal Seat Ball Valves
Metal to Metal Seat Ball Valves
(OP)
I want to design Metal seated Ball Valves.
I had designed & validated Soft seated Ball valves ( Floating /Trunnion mounted / 1, 2 & 3Pc.). But not having much idea about metal seated valves.
Please tell me about good handbooks or Literature or websites from where i will get data. Mainly about seat design, Materials of seals to use. Also about torque calculation of these type of seats.
thanks.

as far as I know, NELES is not part of Tyco Group, but belongs to Metso Group.
See: http://www.metsoautomation.com and http
For an example of ball valves Manufacturers within Tyco Group, refer to Raimondi (http://www.raimondi.it/index.html) and other brands listed on the left column of the following Tyco Valves & Controls "EMEA" web-page: http:/
Another famous Italian Manufacturer is OMS Saleri: http://www.oms-saleri.it/home.php ...
Hope this helps, 'NGL

What do you mean by design? Are you "making" a new valve? Or do you mean, you want to select one for use?
