attribute Extraction

attribute Extraction

(OP)
Is there a lisp routine that would attribute extract information of certain device attributes to excel. I have used attribute extraction in 2002, and set up my Excel sheet to make the wiring calculations base on device location and type of device (for current draw etc.). We recently upgraded to 2006, and found that the interface has changed and does not give me the choice of what I want extracted like 2002 did. I also think that it doesn't let you copy to clipboard so I can paste the data in  one of my 10 or so Excel files.
I just don't want to back to my old excel sheet were I had to do the data entry manually.

Thanks

RE: attribute Extraction

There is some info in the help menu (F1) on this in chapter 13 - Using Blocks and 'External References' > 'Working with Attributes'. There is a topic called "Extracting Attribute Information" that may help.
