2 lb. Natural Gas Calculation
2 lb. Natural Gas Calculation
(OP)
I am trying to find a calculation either a spreadsheet or the formula to calculate 2 lb. gas pressure loss for pipe sizes and lengths. I have found two but both are different.

RE: 2 lb. Natural Gas Calculation
Thanks for the information, but I believe I am looking for the pressure loss formula. I am looking for either the constants for 6" W.C. up to 5 lb. gas or a constant that will allow some flexiblity (not sure about the last one). I am looking to place the formula into a spreadsheet so it will spit out a pressure loss for a given length of pipe and at a specific pressure such as 14" W.C. or 1 lb. gas.

As I recall, the program was very inexpensive, and as such, it may not be worth your time to re-invent the wheel.

Zapster is correct, but if you want to learn about the gas flow equations, take a look at the attached link.
