(OP)
Hello eveyone
I've made a program to copy files from one location to another and it works well. How ever i have to type in a name and extension for the new file. how can i set it so it uses the old name. also how would i get the windows copying window to pop up.

RE: Copying Files

The easiest way is to use the common dialog custom control (it's all in the VB help menu), but you can make direct calls to cmdlg32.dll too if you wanted.
