Hydraulic permeability of crushed stone (macadam)
Hydraulic permeability of crushed stone (macadam)
(OP)
Hi!
I need to know the approximate hydraulic permeability (m/s) of crushed stone, grain size 4-8 mm (in Sweden we use the term "macadam" for this type of sorted, crushed material, I don't know if it's a common term in other countries).
Thank you!

Sand with gravel mix is typically percs between 1,000 and 10,000 gallons/day/square foot, using 1.55x10^-6 cfs/gpd, you get between 0.005 and 0.0005 m/s.
