90 Degree turn fastener

90 Degree turn fastener

(OP)
Hi all,

I wondering what is the standard for screws like that you can see on washing machine or machinery panels for a 90Degree turn to close. Or who supplies these type of screws in steel.

I have a requirement for a plastic part but I would perfer to use a typical steel screw of 3mm shaft diameter with a
T-end or a fish-tail instead of srewing it. Of course the slotted screw head as normal to turn the screw.

Greatful for you help

RE: 90 Degree turn fastener

kges,

you might search Dzus fasteners, they are quarter turn, we use them on our race cars to hold panels that require quick access.

Southco or PEM also has tool-free quick fasteners.
