Wiring for a helicopter headset music bypass

Wiring for a helicopter headset music bypass

(OP)
I've seen some headsets that do this, but here is the problem:

I've been asked by some crew cheifs for a little 6" cord to hook in between their headset and the aircraft commo cord that would have a 1/8" stereo jack wired into it. That in itself isn't too bad. But they need it to either down the volume of the music, or even cancel out completely, whenever someone else talks, so that they don't miss anything important.

Some headsets have this built in, they call it "COMM Priority". I just wondered if anyone knew of a simple thing I could wire up for people who wanted it.

Thanks!

If this is a military application, they might cut you a good deal.
