AutoDesk License Manager and Windows Server 2003

AutoDesk License Manager and Windows Server 2003

(OP)
We are in the process of updgrading our engineering server.  The new server will run Windows Server 2003.  Our previous server ran Windows Server 2000 and was running the AutoDesk License Manager to monitor our useage of AutoCAD 2000.  We are not on subscription support (obviously).  It appears that when we migrate to the new server that the AutoDesk License Manager will not run on Windows Server 2003, leaving us high and dry on our use of AutoCAD 2000.  Is there a way to get networked seats of AutoCAD 2000 to run even if the server is Windows Server 2003?  Is there a better or another solution that would be recommended, one where we don't have to upgrade and pay $$$ and still use our AutoCAD 2000 seats?  Thanks for anyone's help.

Pete

RE: AutoDesk License Manager and Windows Server 2003

Could you use somebody's computer to be the license server? We did that for our Unigraphics install at one time. Maybe use a low power computer running Win Server 2K for licensing? Some suggestions since ACAD2K is not supported on Win Server 2K3.
