ANSYS vs COSMOS Floworks?
ANSYS vs COSMOS Floworks?
(OP)
We have some CFD work to do, (Extract air flow with high pressure jets impinging on a surface for cleaning). We have to decide between Ansys and Cosmos Floworks. Obviously Ansys is up to the task, and we have already done some work on the problem. The temptation is there to go with Cosmos because it is cheaper and it seems to be nicely integrated into Solidworks.
Has anyone any opinions on whether Floworks is up to the task of modelling this problem? I know it is fine for modelling airflow through an enclosure and that kind of thing, but what about more complex behaviour, interacting air flows from jets and all?
