SUBMODELING

SUBMODELING

SUBMODELING

(OP)
Hey guys,

I have a question regarding submodeling.  I have a complete shell model of a stiffened panel, and have conducted postbuckling analyses of it succesfully.  Im now trying to make a local model of a region of this panel.  I followed the guidlines in the manual, and as a starting point my local model is jsut a "cutaway" of teh global model with all the boundries driven by the global model.  Im doing this jsut to see that the "relationship" between the local and global models is working.

Therefore my submodel has exactly the same properties mesh etc as its counterpart in the global model.  I run the submodel job, driven by the global mode, but i am getting slightly different stress distributions.  What am I doing worng??
Thnaks in advance for your help,

andrea
