Dims & Notes on wrong layer ??

Dims & Notes on wrong layer ??

Dims & Notes on wrong layer ??

(OP)
Windows XP SP2.0     SW 2005  SP4.0

Something strange happened lately - Dims & Notes "supposedly" are on Layer Dims (at least Proprieties in manager tree says so) but they are somewhere "between" - when I turn off Layer Dims, the dims & notes on dwg dissapear - so it looks like they are on layer dims - but the color is wrong, that is it does NOT correspond to Layer color - and even if I change the layer color, the dims & notes color does NOT change.

Last thing - when writing a NOTE, the "initial" (that is before finishing writing the note and clicking O.K.) color of the note leader and text DOES correspond to the color of the dims layer, but after finishing writing the note and clicking O.K. chandes to "wrong" color"

What am I doing wrong ???

RE: Dims & Notes on wrong layer ??

Show the Line Format Toolbar, select the object and select the color button. Default should be check, otherwise it's overiding the layer color.
