undo erasing

undo erasing

This I hope is just a setting issue, but when I erase features I can not "undo" and get them back.  Though the software goes through the appropriate "undo" steps.  It's just that the lines/parts that were erased do not show up again.
Thanks for the help.

RE: undo erasing

Do you have any of the UNDO "switches" (options) on?

RE: undo erasing

Did you perhaps do a save after erasing?  (Can't undo after a save).

Could the items perhaps be hidden due to display order?  Seems like I have hit this problem before.

Just a couple of ideas...

RE: undo erasing

Hi rgajewski,

Hmmm... I wonder if this is just a refresh issue.  After you issue your undo command you may try a regen or regenall (or even a redraw) and see if your geometry reappears.  Also, don't forget when you undo, AutoCAD undoes any zooms, dynamic or otherwise, maybe you didn't undo far enough back?  You may also try the "oops" command - this one just undoes erases.
