I will like to know if some body has any clue
for SIF and flexibility factor calculation for a reduced size connection on an elbolet
( example 10" connection on 1 30" line)

I seem to recall that Houston based fitting manufacturer WFI did some work in this area for their own fittings some years ago. I don't have access to any of their publications right now but, you might give them a call.

Also, do not toss aside John Breen's comments to this same post on the COADE BB. He is the guru's guru in this field.
