Dimensions off of Product FT&A plane

Dimensions off of Product FT&A plane

All,

Sometimes when I use Product FT&A the dimension is not on the correct annotation plane but instead parallel to it and set far back in the distance.  Can anyone explain this behavior to me and possibly provide a solution?

Thanks
Archangel

Sounds like a Bug to me.  Open a PMR with IBM/DS.

Thanks.  I'll alert my IT group.

RE: Dimensions off of Product FT&A plane

I've seen the same thing happen many times. I thought it was caused when the features being dimensioned do not intersect with the view plane. I think I'd rather have the dimension "touch" the features and be off the plane, then the other way around.

I guess you could always make a new view.
