Interogate Large Product without opening

Hi Group
Does anyone know if it is possible to check what Parts and/or products are in a very large product without having to open it.
Dave

RE: Interogate Large Product without opening

Hi,

Try to open that large assy without visualization (you will see only the tree on your screen).

If you want, you can save BOM like a txt file and search what you want inside the txt file.

Regards
Fernando

RE: Interogate Large Product without opening

You can either work with the Cache system (but it will load all CGR representations) or open your whole assembly with the "Do not activate default shape on open" setting (available in Tools / Options / Infrastructure / Product Structure / Product Visualization): it will load your assembly but without loading the representations. Thus, you can easily browse your whole assembly.

Regards,
Fabien
