Can I control Sketch Text in Design Table

I have a part model with cut extruded text. Can I change the Text using a design table?

RE: Can I control Sketch Text in Design Table

No not that I am aware of... That also seems like to much detail to add to a DT anyway.

RE: Can I control Sketch Text in Design Table

Thanks Scott, I am creating several template models driven with Design Tables. All of the parts made with these templates will have a machined Job Number and ID on the front face of each plate. As long as I am editing the DT for length, width, thickness, etc... I thought updateing the name (text) that will be CNC machined would be the cats meow...
Regards,
Tom..

RE: Can I control Sketch Text in Design Table

I agree tmalinkski, we have individual part numbers lasermarked onto our products.  When there is a design table used across different sizes we have to go in by hand and update to make sure the numbers match up.

It would be a nice feature to have...
