I loose properties when right clicking

I loose properties when right clicking

(OP)
hi,

On AUTOCAD 2000 when I have a line or curve selected I used to be able to view its "properties" example length, angle, diameter, radius etc.  SNow sometimes I can not in some drawings!  Even if I go to modify and pick properties and then select a line or curve, the window pops up blank!  Co-workers open the same 2D drawing and they can view the properties for same selected line or curve in the same drawing that I can not! I reinstalled AUTOCAD and it did not help.  Some drawings I can view / change properties and others I can not.  Anyone know why and how to fix it that I always can.

Thanks,
Greg

RE: I loose properties when right clicking

In those drawings are there other selection problems besides the lack of viewing properties?  Setting PICKFIRST  to 1 may help.
