Opening AutoCAD closes Excel

Opening AutoCAD closes Excel

I have a user that opens AutoCAD and if he has Excel open, it will close Excel.  AutoCAD 2004 and Excel 2003. I've tried reinstalling Excel, but that didn't help.

Any ideas or has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks!

RE: Opening AutoCAD closes Excel

Never heard of that, been using ACAD and Excel together almost daily since '96, numerous versions of each...can you say "Virus"??

Do you have macros that are loaded on start in AutoCAD?

Yes there are many macros running at startup, but there are also several other users running the same macros and they aren't having any troubles.

I also don't think it's a virus or memory, but thanks for the ideas.
