Belden Calbe in Cable Tray

Belden Calbe in Cable Tray

I have an application where I need to install some Belden or equivalent mulit conductor cable in a cable tray. One of the cables I want to use is an 8760.  This tray will be located outside.  Is it acceptable to use these cables in a tray?

TIA.

RE: Belden Calbe in Cable Tray

I doubt it.  You need UL labeled type TC cable, listed for use in cable tray.  I think Belden may make some TC cable, but I'm not sure these days.

Check with Okonite, or do a Google search for the type of cable you need.

RE: Belden Calbe in Cable Tray

Take look at Belden 9318.  That should be a #18 shielded twisted pair Power Limited Tray Cable.

Thanks, I think that will work.
