Error: Simulation

Error: Simulation

Error: Simulation

(OP)
Hi,

since a while every time I rebuild my drawing a window pop-up and says:

Rebuild errors:
Simulation: This feature had an error in the last update.  Edit definition on the feature to correct the problem.

I found no reference to this string on the internet.

I have been experimenting with simulation in this drawing in the past, but after a while I deleted each motor. Maybe I uncorrectly did it deleting also a directory that with the name "simulation" in my feature list.

But the feature manager doesn't show any error's icon, so it is difficult to removed this error.

Any hint very welcome.

Cheers,

RE: Error: Simulation

Open your assembly then click on File in the main menu. Click Find references and save to a new directory and work with that one. See if that helps.

Thanks, Bradley. I'll try this.

RE: Error: Simulation

pagheca,

You probably deleted the element(s)under the simulation folder and then deleted the models that made up the simulation.  Deleting the models created the error.  Even though you deleted the element(s), it does not delete the simulation.  SolidWorks just hides the the simulation folder.  To clear the error, create a new simulation element and then delete the simulation folder.  This should eliminate the error.

Regg
