Concrete 7 day strength

Concrete 7 day strength

Concrete 7 day strength

(OP)
Hi, i am currently doing an assigment on concrete strngth after a 7 days of curing, i read some where that concrete will have reached 75% of its 28day strength is this accurate? can anyone provide me with a table showing concrete strenght increasing with time?

RE: Concrete 7 day strength

Rate of strength gain depends on the mix.

I suggest you contact you local concrete suppliers, they should have strength gain data for any number of mixes.

RE: Concrete 7 day strength

with normal strength concrete, moist cured, using various types of cement it ranges from about 50% to 78%.  With the addition of fly ash or other admixtures, or different curing conditions these numbers will change.

RE: Concrete 7 day strength

It was discussed in the Concrete Engineering general discussion thread592-120530
